Merilee Daugherty

Merilee Daugherty is an avid hiker and backpacker. Her love of camping and the outdoors can be traced back to her Grandparents and her Ohio roots. Already active in Scouting, her participation in outdoor activities increased upon her family’s relocation to El Paso . Currently active in Boy Scouting, Merilee participated extensively in hikes and backpacking events as part of her now-adult son’s Boy Scout Troop, where she served as the unit’s Committee (board of directors) Chairman. She has hiked extensively throughout the Southwest, and has completed a 50 mile backpacking trip in Colorado’s Weminuche Wilderness.
